So, a sports hernia is a "pre-hernia." Specifically, its a "pre-inguinal hernia" so to speak. Its basically an inguinal hernia but there isn't a bulge.

Apparently you can't do any specific exercises to strengthen this odd little
area, but you can do exercises/stretches to balance your overall hip
strength/flexibility which will prevent this.
hey dude. i just stumbled upon this blog on the web cuz i'm suspecting that i might have sports hernia from breakdancing as well - especially from the powermove transition from windmill to headspin. anyways, i'm not really sure if it is actually hernia since this was very recent. my pelvis area had previously hurt, but not anymore since the pain only lasted for approximately a day. it might have been a strain, but anyways on to my QUESTION. what stretches/excercises are u referring to? i dont want to hurt that area again! thanks
